Very interesting point Ceri.

If the candidate knows netfilter, he may consider interpreting the rules 
to migrate 'em to IPFW/PF/IPF. Otherwise he should have in mind the need 
for a talk with the current system admin - if available - to find out 
what the firewall is supposed to do. If none of this is possible, the 
candidate should research to understand what those rules do.

All three ways may lead the sysadmin not only to migrate the current fw, 
but to improve it. Migration 'good practices' should address this and 
consider that possibly the person won't completly know the other system.
