While I agree the spirit of the suggestion, I disagree with the
specifics.   

If one wants BSD news, there are some well run sites for that.  We've
already learned of a BSD news aggregator on this list.  (Liam, Nov 1)

The value-add for this site is learning about certification.  To wit, do
one thing and do it well.

Of course, that is just my opinion.
