[BSDCert] To be or not to be ?

I would like to see the BSD certification succeed and I am not trying
to undermine the the good work that is being done by saying that BSD is
not the LPI in terms of business.

Evan has been very generous in sharing his experiences, in particular
the strengths and weaknesses of the LPI and BSD certification business.
Even though these two organisations operate in a similar space, their
business plans could not be more obviously different, simply because of
the commercial demand issue. Given the size of the market of commercial
BSD vendors and therefore the scale of the relative sponsorship market.
Why would a corporate "sponsor" fund BSD certification instead of
developing their own program?

All I am simply saying is that there is enough information now for it
to be clear that BSD certification may well require an alternative
business model to the LPI?

I volunteered to help out with the market research because it was
required for the business plan. I understood that it was because there
was no Business plan yet. If this is not the case then I stand corrected.
