I'm starting a series on my blog regarding the current state of IT 
certifications. The first post is here:

The title is simply a tag-line to draw in readers. The point of the posts 
is to show where certifications need improvement and what the members of 
the BSD community are trying to achieve in the creation of their own 
exams.
