[BSDCert] looking for "view system hardware" examples

I am seeking examples to use for a BSDA study guide on using some *BSD
specific utilities which can be used to troubleshoot PCI, ATA, and SCSI
devices.

If you can run a few commands on your systems to show some of your
hardware detection steps and send me examples off-list, it would be much
appreciated.

Basically, I am looking for the command-line you use and some small
snippets of the output.

And maybe also share a quick explanation of what you are looking for and
what the results show.

Here are some tools (but maybe you have others too?):

pciconf(8)
atacontrol(8)
camcontrol(8)
atactl(8)
scsictl(8)
scsi(8)
pcictl(8)

If you want to compare output from different commands and/or with dmesg
output that would be great too.

Also, please let me know what BSD and version you are using.

Remember off-list is fine.

Thanks!

  Jeremy C. Reed
