      Job Description.
      Responsibilities:

          o Collect requirements for Linux releases.
          o Coordinate the integration of all components that constitute
            a Linux release;
          o Manage build and control processes
          o Set requirements and manage the timetable for the engineering,
            integration, packaging, and QA processes in support of Linux
            releases.
          o Communicate release timelines and features to client groups.
          o Design, implement, and manage the overarching release management
            process for Linux.
          o Produce and maintain the Linux Product Roadmap based on feedback
            from client groups, management, and engineering teams.
          o Produce quarterly feature lists for each release.
          o Track the rollout of each GS Linux releases.
          o Liaise with groups who contribute components and content to the
            Linux release.
          o Escalates items to appropriate parties as needed.

      Experience/Skills:

          o Strong working knowledge of software and engineering
            lifecycle processes
          o Experience in managing large operating system or software
            project releases Strong in build and deployment practices
            and tools
          o Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system
            concepts Understanding of software development
            concepts
