saw this link on /. and i've also been thinking about VoIP as a way to 
cut down long distance costs due to my recent re-location.

so what's the skiny on VoIP, is it possible to set something up so that 
i would be possible to setup a phone network (sorry i'm really not 
familiar with telephony terminology) between peers across the 'net?  I'm 
thinking telephone VPN...i think it may be a fun project but is it feasable?
