Hi all,
I have read a decent amount of documentation about getting linux
specific apps to run on BSD via the compat interface. What I have not
seen is a way to get a BSD application to run on gnu/linux.
Specifically, I would like to have systat (1) available on my linux
workstations. I am starting to poke around /usr/src/usr.bin/systat on
my net server but am interested to hear if anyone has done something
similar to this in the past. Systat is most likely not very portable
(esp. the "-vmstat" flag but I am still curious in general about this
topic.

Better yet, maybe systat is available in the the gnu toolbelt but I'm
missing it :)
