Just some to throw in the mix, I don't put scripts in /usr/local/bin I
put them in /usr/local/script and add that to the host's PATH when I
create it. That way if I ever backup or reinstall, I don't bring all
those local binaries (which I'll want to recompile on the new host).
As a rule of thumb, I don't make directories with plural names. Sometimes
plural is appropriate, but at the end of the path, the file is singular.
