Since things have quited down here, let me pour gas on the coals:

We should use NetBSD for the OS and not OpenBSD and here is why:

1: ease of development, XEN allows us to do qa work on 1 computer and
you do not have to buy a soukris box to do it, or have it handy when
you can work on it.

2: Of the big 3 BSD's it is the one with the most design time on being embeded

3: There are several very good NetBSD people in NYC, it might come in handy

4: carp is just not an issue, If you have that much need of up time
then you need a support contract and multple lines in from different
providers.
