i've used carp (kernel based) before and now have to use ucarp, (no  
kernel carp available,)

something aint right here


on the master (192.168.101.51)

ucarp -i eth1 -s 192.168.101.51 -v 10 -p secret -a 192.168.101.41 -- 
upscript=/etc/sysconfig/carp/vip-up.sh --downscript=/etc/sysconfig/ 
carp/vip-down.sh -P


on the slave (192.168.101.52)

ucarp -i eth1 -s 192.168.101.52 -v 10 -p secret -a 192.168.101.41 -- 
upscript=/etc/sysconfig/carp/vip-up.sh --downscript=/etc/sysconfig/ 
carp/vip-down.sh


the master has the -P flag but the slave still sees itself as a master,


on the slave

and i cant ping the vip (.41)  but i can ping .51 and .52
