more details

i can and did install fbsd 6.0 both i386 and amd64 on a puter that
has an Amd Athalon 64 bit 3700 CPU, 3 Gigs of ram and a 400 GB hard
drive. prior to this i had RedHat EL 4.2 64 bit running on it with no
issues.

i tried to recreate the coreing and here when it happenes.

when i do a cvsup on src-all it goes for about 5 minutes and then i
get a kernel trap error. i can do anything else on the system,
(install via ports, pkgs etc...) and it keeps running fine, but the
moments i do a cvsup for src when it reaches a certain point (i am
assuming) something goes bad. now this could be either because the HD
is 400 GB and somehow fbsd kernel looses itself when trying to write
so many files that fast. or it could be something else. i am shooting
in the dark here.

there is no message or erros in any of the logs, i am thinking that
it gets halted for health reasons,

so far without sunning cvsup the puter's been up for about 9 hours, i
will let it stay up for another 5 and then do a cvsup.

will report the details if there are any.
