I think that's how the gnu g77 binaries on geocities where made...
too bad there's not more talk on how they setup the env. When I last
tried cygwin, 2 or 7 years ago (I really don't remember) I didn't
get it to work -- I have little paitence in windows when I cannot
just use the start button, though. -- but it may be worth a revisit.
