Anyone use this with FBSD? It's from OBSD, right?
Assume this was necessary to use your RALink with your X40, right? From
tpwireless sets the magic bit in an IBM Thinkpad's BIOS to disable checking
of a MiniPCI wireless NIC's PCI IDs against the inbuilt list of allowed
This allows one to use a non-IBM authorised NIC in a Thinkpad.
I wasn't aware that there were 'unauthorized' (what does that mean,
indictible under the Patriot act?!?) mini-PCI nics. Assume these are
cards not sold by Lenovo/IBM.
