so since our last meeting, there was a request, or few, about having
events and time/date based items return (from a long long time ago).

our illustrious mw has made this possible once again. so if one wishes,
the submission happens via the "library" tab; select "events/cons" as
the type of submission, and obviously the time/date. the submission will
show up on the home page (after the usual moderation), and as events
happen, or rather as the date passes, the event will fall off the home
page.

i'd like to again thank michael for all the work, blood, sweet and tears;
and mostly for dealing with us ;)
