I my opinion it adds a layer of complexity that really isn't necessary. Of course you must careful with your IP addressing, and that you do not publish the internal DNS services out to the public. In any case it makes things cleaner for your user base especially if your organization has any road warriors or a lot of mobile devices that do WIFI.
