Hey George!

Now there are two people from Brooklyn, we met some time back at
Marc's install party, then I fell off the radar.

It's good to be taking part in one of my favorite things, FreeBSD.
Reading the intro's so far I am the one with the least credentials. I
share Jonathan Franks ambition to learn some type of programming
language mostly python and that it in larrge part due to my
involvement with FreeBSD. I used think that learning how to prgram
was not necessary, at that time Windows was my world.

I was first introduced to Linux (Redhat 7x) shortly after I left the
Navy and started community college. I wasn't impress and as I contined
using Redhat it became to graphical for me, reminded me of Windows.

Dru Lavigne and Greg Lehey open my eyes to FreeBSD at the time Greg
book was too complicated for me to follow. Dru's articles at Onlamp
gave me the quick fixes I needed. Thanks Dru, you are my IT idol.

Enough of that, I am a Windows Administrator I have experince with NT,
2000, XP, 2003. I am very interested in FreeBSD and wish to see it
as a true desktop OS . I have it installed on my Dell 700m laptop and
two computers at home. Since I recently lost my job, I am wishing my
future employer or client uses FreeBSD or Linux/Unix.
