# Description:

Linux Sys Admin needed to:
* Maintain current Linux servers and build new ones as needed.

* Implement an netboot/imaging system for new servers and workstations.

* Reorganize network subnets for ease and security.

* Server(s) Backup.

* Implement local (closed loop) NTP.

* Work closely with development team to deploy web based and embedded software and possibly aid in development if capable.


# Required Skills:

* Excellent Linux OS knowledge (Debian GNU/Linux experience is a plus)
* Programming and Scripting (Perl/bash, C and/or PHP is a plus)
* PostgreSQL and MySQL Database servers experience
* Network management (iptables, iproute)
* Excellent hardware knowledge ( able to test new hardware)
* OS replication (systemimager or other imaging system)
* Monitoring and managing large scale distributed networks
* Know the Linux Kernel internals, know how to build and install kernels (finding the appropriate patches/modules for the specific hardware, kernel fine-tuning)
* Experience with embedded operating systems and hardware a plus.
* Experience with video for linux a plus.
* Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
