      PHP Managers/Architects, NYC | 80-110k

      My client's core technology is developed in a C/Unix environment. The UI and reporting tool is developed in PHP. Due to growth and increased development needs, they are seeking experienced Development Managers/Architects to join our Technology group.

      These positions have responsibility for all development and support of our ad-server technology. They have hands-on coding responsibilities, as well as leadership responsibilities, requiring a strong background in computer science, and ownership of the full project life cycle.

      Primary Responsibilities include:
          o Responsible for owning a large, critical application
          o Provide experience leading all phases of the software development lifecycle
          o Provide Project Management experience (budget planning, work planning, risk analysis, etc.)
          o Provide programming expertise in optimization techniques and algorithms
          o Provide leadership to other developers
          o Build a strong and effective development group 

      Qualifications include:

          o BA/BS in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience
          o 5+ years of professional software development experience
          o Technical expertise should include C, Java, PHP, MySQL
          o Solid understanding of OO programming concepts
          o Serious professional experience developing large, complex systems
          o Experience with optimization techniques and algorithms
          o Experience with high-volume, rapid transaction processing systems is required
          o Strong interpersonal skills 


    * Required Skills:

      To be considered for this position, candidates:

      MUST live in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area.
      MUST work on-site at clients NYC location.
      MUST be auth to work in the USA

      These are full time, salaried, on-site positions in New York City. There is NO chance of them hiring a telecommuter or a team of 100 developers from India.
