Greetings,

Our client, a major internet communication provider in New Jersey, is 
seeking
premier hackers to help define the next-generation evolution of their 
highly scalable,
distributed and robust call processing infrastructure.  The ideal 
hackers should have
prior experience with some combination of the following: C, C++, Python, 
Perl, and SQL.

REQUIREMENTS
 
A significant portion of the position is designing, writing and/or 
maintaining various user space programs, kernel modules, and scripts 
written primarily in C, perl, shell, and tcl/tk. The successful 
candidate must be an expert C programmer capable of writing UNIX 
(Solaris) or Linux kernel modules. The successful candidate will almost 
certainly consider himself/herself a "Unix Kernel Hacker."
 
Successful candidate will meet most if not all of the following 
requirements:

TECHINCAL SKILLS
================================
o Expert programming skills in C
o Competent with Lex, YACC, awk
o Expert network programming skills, including development with epoll 
and highly multithreaded programming environments..
o Expert scripting/programming skills in sh, tk/tcl/expect, Perl
o Database programming/administration skills including generic SQL and 
ORACLE/MySQL specifically
o Expert TCP/IP network administrator including familiarity with IPv6.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
================================
o Proven ability to architect, document, implement, and maintain large 
scale ISP server infrastructures
o Proven ability to work well with diverse set of people including 
programmers, system administrators, sales, MarCom, finance, logistics, 
customer service, and field operations
o Proven ability to lead others and especially to mentor and develop 
junior staff members
o Excellent written and oral communications skills with demonstrated 
commitment to producing and maintaining meaningful and useful documentation
o Excellent customer service skills
