Hi all,

I have a client that I have not been able to find time for that needs some
help. This is not a full-time or part-time job, at most it's a day of
work and then some follow-up consulting every month or so. This is a
small office (all Macs) with about a dozen employees. They don't move
much traffic but are VERY dependant on internet connectivity.

What they need right now is someone familiar with the SnapGear line of
routers/firewalls (basically a glorified Linux box). For the first visit
they will need:

-liason with SnapGear and get new firmware for the box
-install new firmware and test
-update static MAC mappings for new machines
-verify that WAN failover still works correctly (they have business cable
and DSL)
-establish dyndns account/updates for the cable line (dynamic IP)
-follow-up on any problems that may arise with the snapgear not properly
failing over

The customer does have a "Mac guy", but he's not network-savvy, nor does
he delve into webapps or any sort of programming.

There may be opportunities for putting together some very nifty little web
applications as well, and to clean up some stuff I put together in the
past. Contact me for more details/scope of what I've done in the past.

Feel free to contact me with ANY questions.

Thanks,

Charles
