Sr. Linux Administrator (NYC) -- *Fulltime / Perm  (Up to $140K)

 

Our client is a well-funded startup co-founded by Carnegie Mellon alumn's with a track record of success in the entrepreneurial realm, with their earlier companies being acquired by Sun Microsystems, AOL, and the like.  They are building a very unique product that a major software firm has shown a very keen interest in. This product is being deployed on cloud computing technology.

 

This company is looking for someone with :

 



	- 
Extensive Linux experience (4-7+ years)


	- 
Apache 


	- 
MySQL 


	- 
Working knowledge of networking and load balancing 


	- 
Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Munin, Monit, OpenNMS


	- 
Knowledge of Ruby or Java beneficial.
