Hi everyone,

 

My name is Daniel Parkhill, I'm with BBG Management, a staffing and
recruiting firm focused specifically on IT-related roles. I'm working with a
client that is looking to fill a Senior OS Engineer role in Princeton, NJ.
Below is a full job description:

 

Our client delivers the best next-generation network monitoring solutions to
secure critical infrastructure, optimize service delivery, and reduce
compliance risks. They were founded in 1997 and are headquartered in
Princeton, NJ. They have over 1000 customers around the world including
defence and intelligence communities, major financial institutions and
global service providers. They are seeking a Senior Operating System
Engineer with expertise in the development of operating systems and device
drivers on Linux, Unix or FreeBSD to be a part of the creation of the
company's products.

 

Requirements include:

-          Expertise in the development of operating systems and device
drivers on Linux, Unix or FreeBSD

-          Experience with the build, integration and distribution of one of
these OS'

-          Experience with packaging tools and package versioning on one of
these OS'

-          Expert C or C++ coding

-          Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

-          Degree in Computer Science or related field

Other notes:

-          Hours of work are very flexible; many engineers start around 10AM
and leave whenever their work is done

-          This organization has four offices, three in the US and one in
India. Travel to these offices and customer sites is required, but not too
much (<25% of work will require this)

The salary being offered is very high, and varies on the qualifications of
the candidate. Rest assured you will be making more money than whatever you
may be making now. Benefits include:
