Hello all,

While not specifically a *BSD job, we're almost exclusively a
FreeBSD shop on the server side of things and we'd be more than
happy to do some junior sysadmin training if we find the right
candidate.

Personality and a pleasant phone manner is a big plus.

Technical Support Representative for Internet Service Provider
 
 
Duties and Tasks:
 
·  Serve as initial point of contact for technical support phone calls, and emails
·  Troubleshoot and Configure DSL Modems (networking, subnet, NAT config, troubleshooting)
·  Troubleshoot and Configure wireless/wired customer networks
·  Troubleshoot email (Thunderbird, Outlook, webmail, PGP/Enigmail)
·  Windows/Mac/iOS/Android troubleshooting methods
·  Troubleshoot VOIP
·  Configure Wi-Fi Routers/CPE
·  Basic Cisco router configuration
·  Basic fileserver management
·  Basic HTML editing
·  Work with senior engineer via email and phone 5+ hours per week
·  Be comfortable on the phone and patient on the phone

·  Proper Phone etiquette
·  Ability to speak and write clearly
·  Effective listening skills
·  Multitasking capabilities
·  Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
