: As for streaming servers, depends on the content...there's a streamer : there for vlc, and of course there's mod_mp3. Don't forget icecast for streaming audio. I'm known for setting that up at all of my previous employer's locations (without them knowing it), and almost all of them are still running it, now that they know what it is :)
