I can't boot off of a CD-ROM - no CD-ROM drive. So the subscription 
wouldn't do it for me, right?

I tried making 4 more floppies, including do the md5sum, per Sunny's 
suggestion. They matched up. Still had the same problem, so I think it 
must be something other than the floppies. I'll keep trying different 
things. Thanks for the help.
