Xserve G5 and Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" provide the ultimate platform for
64-bit high performance computing. Matt MacInnis, Manager for research
computing in Apple's worldwide Professional Markets team, will show
attendees the merits of the Mac platform, useful third-party
applications and successful customers who are using Xserve G5 for high
performance computing today. Scientists, engineers, creative

Matt MacInnis graduated from Harvard University with a degree in
Electrical and Computer Engineering. After working for a number of
years in consumer marketing, Matt returned to his technical roots in
2004 and joined Apple's Worldwide Science and Technology Markets group
to grow Apple's high performance computing business, and manages
solutions like the Apple Workgroup Cluster for Bioinformatics.
