Thx- yeah, actually, I should just give this option a shot first and 
see how it all feels...  I'm not so afraid of a monsterous-looking 
contraption, and actually anyone who's been in my office would know I'm 
right at home with wires and blinking lights...  /me starts rummaging 
through boxes for spare nics...
