for broader support, I'm using ports on FreeBSD 5.4 (though no
reason not to use 6.0). I've not done any cvsup on this dev box
but grep -r LOCALPATCHES /usr/ports/Mk is null, google didn't
turn up anything in FreeBSD ports either.
