Brian, you can try http://www.small-tree.com  They carry a line of intel 
based ethernet adapters (PCI-e) and have a 4-port and 6-port model.  We 
just put a 6-port model in one of our new Xeon-based XServes.  I haven't 
had a chance to play with it yet :(

The cards are supported under a variety of OSes including FreeBSD 4.x or 
later and NetBSD 1.6x and later.  Company-wise, they're pretty cool to 
work with, too.  We're also investigating their AoE solution as a 
replacement for our SAN.  If anyone is interested I can post our findings.
