That is not a violation of the gpl as the linux kernel licnese has an
exception for drivers that it links to, which interestingly enough
*is* a violation of the gpl on linuxs part by keeping the name GPL but
substantially changing the scope of the license. <hehehehe>  So take
it up with linus  torvold(sp?)
