You mean you just want to keep it simple, and not spend the next 3
weeks getting up to speed on an MVC framework?

I don't think that's gonna fly in Web 2.0 world...

...but if you don't actually tell anyone they'll never know the
difference. You will have to make it clear to the owners of the site
that what you build for them now will be quick but limited of course,
so they don't get sticker shock later when they go to expand it.
