However, if you want the power of 'grep -P' but don't have control over 
the way 'grep' is compiled for your environment, you can check out the 
program 'ack' -- "a tool like grep, optimized for programmers".  'ack' 
was written by veteran Perl hacker Andy Lester*.  You can read all about
