Suggestion: I imagine whoever is going should contact the speakers at 
a/the non-script-kiddie event(s) and ask for permission to stand up and 
announce that the group exists (like a one minute shout-out about the 
group and the upcoming ports talk...)

The events that stand out as being /somewhat/ non-script-kiddie are
