You're right. I was tentative, in case the relay won't be accessible
again for whatever reason. (I'd really love to know exactly what the
issue was so I could troubleshoot were it to happen again!) But, if it
were to happen again, the existing relay would go down anyway. So, I'm
not really securing my position by not upgrading at all.

I think I'll create a new jail, build the security/tor-devel port in
there and then, if everything goes according to plan, shutdown the
existing one.
