      We are looking for Software Engineers with a Unix/Linux background
      and expert knowledge of Perl for both mod_perl application
      interface development as well backend data-processing. Knowledge
      of C, shell scripting, and javascript are desirable. As an open-
      source shop we develop exciting and unique solutions from the
ground
      up and have the opportunity to understand how things work at the
      lowest levels and modify things to work as desired. Development is
      collaborative and in discussions, there is no "X says so", but
rather
      an idea or a way of doing things has to be explained so that
others
      based on common sense can be convinced. Little specialization,
lots
      of discussion/learning. Our development process is not fully
formalized
      and requires developers to wear several hats at times and be
involved
      from analysis and design through testing, implementation and
support
      of live systems.

    * Required Skills: General database knowledge including SQL is a
must
      and more experience, especially in Oracle/MySQL is desirable.
      Applicants must be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate
      with internal clients, and have the ability to both complete
projects
      independently as well as work on small teams.

      Required Skills: Perl, Linux/Unix, SQL Desired skills: C, shell
      scripting, javascript, XML, Apache, Oracle/MySQL
