      Our web-based applications are primarily being written in Java with some PHP.

      We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer to administer and design the backbone network of a world-class lead generation system.

    * Required Skills:

          o Smart, a good sense of humor, proactive, and a propensity to get the job done.
          o BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or educational focus on: IT, IS, Operating Systems, Networking.
          o 5+ years professional experience administering the network infrastructure of a large consumer or financial system.
          o Experience in designing, planning, and implementing mission critical, fully redundant network solutions.
          o Expert level experience in Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and/or Solaris operating systems.
          o Solid experience with Perl, Bash, Python, and other scripting languages.
          o Experience configuring and managing network equipment: routers, switches, and load balancers.
          o Advanced knowledge of network security protocols, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
          o Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior SA's.
          o Programming ability a plus.
          o On call 24x7 pager support

      4. Describe what is a "chroot'ed" apache server.
