Hello People 


My Employer is looking for a new Network Engineer who has Traditional Networking and *BSD experience.
We run an Extranet for connectivity to various fintech firms and we use a lot of BSD.


Responsibilities:
Installing and Monitoring all client connections for connectivity and running services
Handling Trouble tickets, work orders and general customer network questions
Providing support to resolve problems on internal and external customer systems
Perform customer and internal installations including system O/S and network setup
Developing and maintaining support documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles and procedures



Role Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of technical support experience in a multi-platform server and networking environment with exposure to the following:
Networking on Artista/Cisco/Juniper systems
Deep knowledge of Linux/*BSD/Windows networking 
UNIX/LINUX Windows Server experience. 
Must understand how to monitor and troubleshoot networking issues.
Deep understanding of transport layer flexibility and limitations (UDP, TCP) 
Application layer Switching, Routing (BGP), Multicast (IGMP, PIM)
High volume and real time packet capture and analysis
Automation of maintenance and configuration
pfSense VPN appliances and software
Experience managing direct customer connectivity installations
Excellent customer service and strong written/verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Able and willing to do critical strategy work all the way through hands on implementation 
Confidence in your own abilities & willingness to make decisions and escalate when necessary
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with financial exchange protocols and terminology
Ability to manage numerous business priorities with ease
Self starter
