Technology</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>A leading media firm with interests in publishing and licensing
is seeking an intelligent, proactive individual with strong leadership and
communication skills to lead the development of technology products at the
company.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>The right person will have a background that includes years of
experience in managing software development and IT infrastructure projects as
well as mature skills in requirements gathering.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>The role that the technology project manager will play at the
company will be that of one of the most important liaisons between the business
and technology sides of the firm. The ideal person will be quick to understand
how the business operates and then will be able to rapidly create requirements
documents that can be used to form agreement and consensus between the business
and technology departments about how the business should be supported by
technology. Around that consensus, a technology architecture will be created to
meet the needs of the business. The technology project manager will play a
leading role in planning and executing on project to improve current systems to
create the desired architecture.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>To play this role, it is assumed that the technology project
manager is able to perform the following tasks well:</FONT></P><FONT

business manager to draft proposals for capital expenditures</FONT></P><FONT

projects day-to-day to adhere to plan </FONT></P><FONT face="Courier New">
<P><FONT size=2>•</FONT></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2> Defines and
manages team expectations regarding scope and responsibilities</FONT></P><FONT

Development directors with overall resource management of the</FONT></P>

with Director of Production and Fulfillment on resources</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>needed for development of "front end" deliverables including
usability documents and graphic design</FONT></P><FONT face="Courier New">
<P><FONT size=2>•</FONT></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2> Establishes
and maintains project communications</FONT></P><FONT face="Courier New">
<P><FONT size=2>•</FONT></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2> Sets project
quality and performance standards and ensures the quality of</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>project deliverables</FONT></P><FONT face="Courier New">

IS financial analyst, tracks and maintains project expenses</FONT></P>

manages risk within the project</FONT></P>

years software project management experience </FONT></P><FONT
