Systems Manager is responsible for overall maintenance and administration of
all UNIX systems supported by the Systems Support and Engineering team.
In this role you will manage engineers located in multiple datacenters.
You will be responsible for the management of our enterprise Unix
environment which consists of more than 3200 servers that control
production engineering, hosted web applications as well as a variety of
Thomson's industry leading applications. We are looking for someone
who has led teams in a large enterprise environment who can handle the
implementation of multiple projects while working with groups across the
enterprise. You will have had previous experience administering mission
critical application environments that require 100% uptime.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

SUN Solaris, HP-UX, Red Hat and SuSE Linux. Knowledge and understanding of
network concepts and technology including TCP/IP protocols, high
availability system design, Web hosting or database management is
