I am now a *big* fan of g4u.

<quote>
      g4u ("ghost for unix") is a NetBSD-based bootfloppy/CD-ROM
that allows easy cloning of PC harddisks to deploy a common setup on a
number of PCs using FTP.

I recently finished setting up a not-so-simple mail gateway that is
going to act as MX1 for our domain. Rather than go thru the whole
install process again for the MX2 box, I `ghosted` the original to a
local ftp box. Then booted the next machine to the CD and brought down
the ghost from the machine.

I changed the hostname and IP; and BANG!
I'm finished.

This could have sssoooo many uses,
Michael
