Being into advocacy in my less sane (err, usual?) mood, I downloaded and
tried it. The install is quite straightforward, but at the moment it's
a bit feature poor. That is, it didn't get the AC97 Yamaha sound card
on an old Dell, and only has koffice and konqueror for a browser and
office suite.
It's quite new, of course, but to be a possible desktop I think they
will need more polishing. (I look at it as something to give a
newcomer. If I'm going to spend the time for myself configuring, say,
flash, and various programs I want, I'll use the normal FreeBSD).
It seems to have promise for the audience at which I think it is aimed,
but just needs a bit more work.

Buffy: You're like my fairy godmother, and Santa Claus, and Q
all wrapped up into one. (they look at her) Q from Bond, not
Star Trek.
