hey all

if we're going to talk about consumer-family-routers, I highly recommend 
D-link routers.  I've had nothing but good luck with them.  And many of their 
routers have an online emulator, so you can 'use' the router before you ever 
buy it.

I'd recommend Linksys routers.  (If you don't mind running linux ... ) for 50 
bucks you get a router with a 4 port switch, 1 port uplink, 802.11b/g 
support, and everything the linux kernel/tools support, with a fine selection 
of OSS 3rd party firmwares.  Its not PF, but hey ... something beats 
nothing .. heh
