Way out there, but could you use raw character device access to the disk 
under FreeBSD to feed a disk image to the Mac?  Maybe a .dmg, etc.?  Mac's 
are very volume oriented.

Maybe burn a DVD?  Or a disk image file on an external USB drive with a 
Mac-and-freebsd-readable FS?
