While I agree, it will be really interesting to see what happens.  A few 
months ago, I had an issue with MySQL on FreeBSD 6.2 with threading and 
had to switch to Linux for the solution.  Would be nice to be able to 
switch back.

Tried to use Linux pthreads, but these were 64 bit boxes.
