If you get something like that, any specific features you are looing for  
that you would still want to replace the OS that comes with it?

Also I think if you buy a box like that make sure that  somehow you could 
re-install the OS that comes with it.. in case you can't get FreeNAS to work 
so you could at least re-install  the OS that comes with it.
