Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the reply. I have the pipe syntax down. What I was more looking for is a script to parse the message that comes into the pipe.

I think you can set up the alias as a pipe in the familiar syntax

root: "| /usr/stuff/to/do.pl"

Exim hates your family when you do this, but you can make it out
alive. Postfix and sendmail are more amenable. They just do what
they're told.

The formail program can help parse stuff out possibly, but maybe not.
