I'm also running the same kernel version and arch. But I get a couple more
lines in my grep of sysctl:
$ sysctl -a |fgrep -i swap

Dunno what the xml is from, not going to look now... but the
vm.swap_reserved/total don't seem to show up in you sysctl output.
