thanks for posting the bug george - question though. on my freebsd-10.1
system i am not finding the sysctl OID you reference:
% sudo sysctl -a | grep net.inet.ip.random
net.inet.ip.random_id_period: 8192
net.inet.ip.random_id_collisions: 0
net.inet.ip.random_id_total: 0
net.inet.ip.random_id: 0
%
is the OID supposed to be .random_id on 10.1-RELEASE?
