HOPE (x.hope.net) is this weekend. A number of NYC*BUG people will be
around.

This Thursday, July 17th, Unigroup's meeting features Julio Marino
speaking on "Software+Release Testing: The FreeBSD Test Suite."

The meeting is at Cooper Union's School of Engineering, and starts at
615 PM. Note that for non-Unigroup members, meetings are $20. More
information can be found at unigroup.org.

The NYC*BUG August 6th meeting features OpenBSD developer Brian Callahan
leading a workshop on porting applications to OpenBSD. This is a great
chance to begin contributing to a great software project that has
brought us OpenSSH, pf, and has taken the first real and significant
action to slash and burn the SSL mess with LibreSSL.

How can you get involved? Start with reading through the OpenBSD
Porter's Handbook (www.openbsd.org/faq/ports/index.html) and the Port
Testing Guide (http://www.openbsd.org/faq/ports/testing.html).

Ping admin@ to indicate your interest.
